Following the success of the best-selling game Uncharted 3, Sony is launching The Uncharted Audition – are you as good as Nathan Drake? Entrants must prove they have what it takes to become a game character in three online audition rounds, hosted on Facebook at http://www.theunchartedaudition.com/uk and the chosen finalists will fly to L.A to compete in the live final in front of the judges. The grand prize is a trip to Naughty Dog’s studio where the winner will get to create their own in-game multiplayer character for Uncharted 3, and experience the behind the scenes of motion capture. The deadline for entries is midnight on Sunday 18th March and entrants can share their auditions with the hashtag #asgoodasnathandrake Behind the scenes content In addition, to show fans the creative talent and expertise that goes into making the Uncharted franchise, Sony have produced three make.videos with the team at Naughty Dog. Uncharted is so immersive to play as it is designed to be a film in which you can step in and control the characters. The storyline is scripted as a film would be and behind the game characters are real actors. The final part explores the cutting edge cinematic technology and creative genius available at PlayStation and Naughty Dog, the technical experts behind the game explain what it takes to get from the motion capture studio to the finished product
