Last year, more than 17,000 healthy or treatable animals were killed in L.A. city shelters. Each one an individual. Each one a loving pet worth saving. 17,000. that number should be zero. And it can be. The is a solution, but only if the people who care work together. Join us and help make L.A. into NKLA. Last year, 17,000 adoptable animals were euthanized in LA alone. Best Friends Animal Society aims to reduce this number and make LA a no-kill city within the next 5 years with their new campaign NKLA "No Kill Los Angeles". The campaign shows bold, soulful images of dogs and cats, designed to draw attention to the issue of euthanasia and at the same time provide hope that they will be saved. Oversized images of individual dogs and cats with the graphically-edgy “NKLA” slogan next to the logo of Best Friends Animal Society have begun to appear at various locations throughout Los Angeles. The campaign is led by Let There Be Dragons (http://lettherebedragons.com/) -- a content innovation studio specializing in creating and promoting ideas and intellectual property for brands and direct to consumers.
