In 2004 posters featuring the hooded Abu Ghraib detainee familiar from photos of torture at the Iraqi prison appeared in New York and San Francisco.<br> <br> The I-Pod spoofs appeared in New York subways and showed the Abu Ghraib prisoner in place of the silhouetted figure of the original Apple ads. The white earphone cords shown in the original ad had been substituted with electrolodes connected to the prisoner’s hands.
