HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM – Tuesday August 2, 2011 – TBWA\Vietnam has developed a new poster campaign for H2O Pro Lures and Tackle. The company based in Hong Kong, with offices in Johannesburg, South Africa and Zhuhai, China, manufactures high quality fishing lures for the global salt water and fresh water fishing market. The series of posters over-dramatizes the realism of H2O Pro Lures by showing various animals (cat, seagull and grizzly bear) that have mistaken the lures for live bait. “Quality is at the core of every lure we design. If our lures aren’t authentic in texture, look and feel – people don’t catch fish – and I don’t sell lures. So our new communications had to capture the essence and precision of our products,” said Patrick Sprung, Founder and President of H2O Pro Lures. “Most tradeshow communications are extremely cluttered and messy. We wanted posters that were simple, visually interesting and eye-catching,” added Sprung. “It’s a great product with a wonderfully clear benefit,” said Patrick Tom, Executive Creative Director TBWA\Vietnam. The campaign launches at international tradeshows starting with the EFTTEX (European Fishing Tackle Trade Exhibition) in Amsterdam and the ICAST (International Convention of Allied Sportsfishing Trades) tradeshow in Las Vegas.
