Film-making and motion design studio weareflink, who are signed to Independent in the UK (www.independ.net), have created a gloriously messy trio of spots for Bosch's campaign for the revolutionary new Outdoor Plus washing machine, specifically designed for the Chinese laundry market. Working with top Chinese agency Interone Beijing, weareflink got on top of this dirty job modelling a 3D world just full of muck and nasty stains - the perfect showcase for the incredible new Outdoor Plus and its new technology for washing outdoor fabrics, such as Goretex. The cartoon-style planet is home to a host of fun characters in each of the 3 spots, including a very grubby cow, courtesy of Niko, and a revolting rabbit - a 3D character-modelling first for Lasse. Rotating the planet on a turntable allowed a stream of mud and mush to slosh about, leaving even the cow looking surprised, making for a cheeky and upbeat mood that is enhanced by clever camera moves and deft lighting, with further tweaks added to colour and depth of field at the compositing stage. Creative Director Niko Tziopanos says: "We hadn't done much character animated work before but have an incredible relationship with the agency executive creative director, Georg Warga, and client whom allowed us to dive into this and experiment." Executive Producer Andreas Lampe adds: "We had done some other films for Bosch a few months earlier but they weren't character driven at all. It was great to explore a different avenue as we love to mix things up creatively and we don't want get pigeonholed."
