The Great Limerick Run is a sporting event that is unique to Ireland. It is the first ever time that a 10k, half marathon and a fully certified marathon have been held in the same location is one day and will be the most exciting event on the Irish running calendar in 2010. Everyone has their own reason for taking part in the Great Limerick Run. Maybe it's to get fit, to raise money for their favourite charity, school, college or community or to realise a personal goal - either way, you can be sure of a fun filled day never to be forgotten. Its three distances cater to everybody from novice fun runner / walker to the most competitive of international athletes. It's specifically designed to be accessible to people of all ages, ability, mobility, and fitness levels.
