The new ad campaign for Virgin Mobile Australia highlights Virgin Mobile member benefits such as discounts on Virgin Blue flights, FREE beers on a Friday for Virgin Mobile customers, free voicemail and free gigs for customers. The TVC airs this Sunday, 4 October and in cinemas next month. A tailored version of the TVC will air on Virgin Blues in-flight channel from December. Says Anthony Freedman, CEO of Host: "Research showed us that most people have a relationship of indifference with their mobile phone company yet were very receptive to the promise of something more rewarding. A strategy of valuing and rewarding customers continuously rather than at the start and end of their contract, was a very Virgin way of behaving and highly relevant to both existing and future customers. And what simpler way to convey the difference in experience than to talk about customers as Members with all the positive associations that we all know come with Membership."
